DWB were appointed as Construction Cost Consultants for two new special schools and a pupil referral unit - to be constructed to make way for the new Elmcourt Secondary School.  The first school, Michael Tippet, is now open.

DWB join Appleyards

On 10th December 2007, DWB joined the Appleyards Group of Companies. 

DWB now provides cost consultancy, project management and CDM Co-ordination services as an autonomous business unit within the Appleyards Group.  Wherever appropriate, we will be linking up with our colleagues in other sectors of the Group to provide an extended service for our clients.

King Square Framework Agreement

DWB have been appointed to a Framwork Agreement by Homes for Islington/EC1 NDC.  This Framework is to provide an analysis of the spatial limitations and opportunities for the area and a strategy to improve the public realm in King Square.

City University, School of Arts

Works have now started on site for this project which is the creation of a new School of Arts, located within the Grade II listed College building.  DWB are appointed as Construction Cost Consultants.

Kingston Hospital, Maternity Expansion Scheme

DWB are appointed as Construction Cost Consultants for this project.  The project includes the expansion of the maternity services generally, including the post-natal beds and ancillary facilities adjacent to the existing post-natal facility in Worcester Ward level 2, Esher Wing.  

Rossington - Webcam

This project is to provide a new school building, sports centre and external landscaping works for Rossingto All Saints (CE) School.  The school is an 11 to 18 age, 1050-place secondary school, and is a voluntary aided Church of England School with Sports College status since 2002.  The project will create a new school which inspires learning and is loved by the community. 

QS Week

DWB are named one of the annual Top 30 QS Teams and are aiming for the Top 10 in 2008

Brunel University, Saltash Hall Refurbishment

DWB has been appointed as Construction Cost Consultants for the refurbishment of the Saltash Hall at Brunel University.  The project includes internal refurbishment of 180 student bedrooms including renewal of services, renewal of furniture, new finishes, repairs and redecoration

Creekside Village East, Deptford

DWB has been appointed as Construction Cost Consultants for a development appraisal for the London Borough of Lewisham that includes 13,000m2 of commercial space, 9,000m2 of workshops and retail space plus 438 residential units

Merchant's Academy, Bristol

DWB are the Construction Cost Consultants for this new city academy.  The project is valued at over £20million and is on site, due to complete in July 2008.  The new academy will provide accommodation for 1,150 secondary level pupils.

St Mark's C of E Academy, Mitcham

DWB were appointed as Construction Cost Consultants for a major enhancement project at the existing Academy school.
